Base camp for our ATV tours is at the beautiful property of Montana del Fuego hot springs resort. Your guides will greet you provide you with a safety and instructional briefing. After you gear up and get comfortable on your 4x4 quads, we will take off on some open pasture for a bumpy ride toward Arenal River! After all that bouncing around and splashing through mud, we will take a break at one of our favorite swimming holes on the Arenal River. A weekend hot spot for the La Fortuna locals. Back on your quads, your Costa Rica 4x4 tour will take you up, up, up to what is referred to as the Monterrey Towers. The rocky dirt road is a fun challenging ride. But, the breathtaking views from 3550' above sea level make it all worth it! Take out your cameras! From the top, we will have panoramic views of La Fortuna Valley, be face to face with the Arenal Volcano, and on a clear day, we can see all the way to Nicaragua!!

But the most important contribution the Maleku have in Costa Rica is their dedication to reforestation and survival of the rainforest. Departures: Departs 2 times daily at 10:00am and 3:00pm. Pick up included for most hotels in La Fortuna. Pick up for hotels around Arenal available at additional charge. Please note your hotel and exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.

3 Hour Discover Arenal ATV Tour Recommendations:
Children: Ages 3 and up are permitted to ride on the back of their parents. Minimum age to operate the ATV is 16 years old with driver’s license.
Restrictions: No prior ATV riding experience is necessary. Our La Fortuna ATV tour guides will show you the basics and get you comfortable before we hit the trails. Most ATV rentals in Costa Rica require a valid driver’s license as most Costa Rica ATV tour routes require some highway driving. People with back and neck injuries should not participate. All guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure.
